Progressive Hospital close to Tifton Seeking: Director of Nursing over Women and Children Services! Responsibilities: 1. Provides line management for assigned areas/departments. 2. Facilitates inter and intradepartmental communication and collaboration. 3. Ensures the delivery of quality patient care. 4. Ensures Department meets regulatory/accreditation standards. 5. Manages department within established budgetary parameters. 6. Represents the hospital in various local state and regional activities. 7. May function as Nurse Administrator in the absence of the Nurse Administrator and Associate Nursing Administrator. Qualifications: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: 1. Education, licensure, and certification: A. Current RN license in State of Georgia. B. Bachelorâ™s degree in nursing or related field required; Masters Degree in nursing or related field strongly preferred. C. Current CPR certification. 2. Five (5) years of experience in nursing, including supervisory / leadership experience required.
